These dogleg levers have been designed to match outboard disc master cylinder levers. 
 
The position of the cable barrel in reference to the pivot pin position had been altered, this allows the 'cam' effect to alter the leverage as the lever approaches the headset. The result is a lighter pull as the springs are compressed in the clutch.
