These top quality ' big ' or main gear box shims come in sizes from 1.4mm up to 3mm in 0.1mm increments so you are sure of getting the end float bang on. 
 We personally were fed up with the inferior remade Indian shims that can differ as much as 0.2mm across from one side to the other, MRB have remade these shims in the UK from hardened steel to perfect tolerances and can be used on all series 1, 2, 3 and GP / DL engines, tuned or standard.
 
We use nothing else in our engine rebuilds.
