Good quality cylinder kit at a very good price with extra power over standard to give problem-free riding even when used daily. Technically this gives 177cc's but these have always been called 180 kits.
The kit gives better performance at the top end, through the higher rev ranges and, due to the two auxilliary exhaust ports, giving you more bottom end torque over standard, although don't be fooled - these do not give the same power as a malossi, polini or quattrini Etc kit, although they can be further tuned using the Polini cylinder head and opening up the ports to the same layout as the Polini 177 dimensions, although you will still not get the same power as the Polini kit.
This is exactly the same kit as the Olympia 177 kit but branded differently. This kit is also capable of working on 2 port motors, if the 3rd port is blocked using a different gasket.
So the summary of this kit is a good, all round cylinder and great for long distance riding.
Cast Iron/ 63mm Bore/ 7 Transfers/ 177.68ccm. Cast iron cylinder, 57mm stroke, 7 transfers, pistons with 2 piston rings, exhaust with additional auxilliary outlets, original DR cylinder head and gasket set included in delivery. The crankcase will not need modification in the first step, jets and ignition should be checked and optimized. Models with elestart will need modification of the lower cooling fins, the starter cog teeth will touch the barrel.
